Java and Sumatra. The largest and most developed of the Indonesian archipelago they are a dichotomy of modern and ancient cultures. Her journey through
Java takes her to the capital,
Jakarta, Anak Krakatau,Yogyakarta, and Kudo. On
Sumatra she visits the Orangutans at
Bukit Lawang Nature Reserve and the surfing paradise,
Pulau Nias.
Globe Trekker Mark Crowdy visits the
Eastern Islands which cover only a tiny fraction of the vast country. His journey begins in
Bali and takes him to
Lombok, Komodo, Flores, Timor and
the Spice Islands of Ambon and Banda.

Bali and Sulawesi. Her journey begins on

Kuta, Ubud, Gunung Batur volcano and
Lovina on the island's north coast. She travels on to
